How CEREC works
- Digital impression: instead of impression material, the prepared tooth is scanned with a small camera.
- Design on screen: the restoration is planned to fit your neighbouring teeth and your bite precisely.
- Made in the practice: a milling unit cuts the inlay, onlay or crown from a ceramic block in the matching tooth shade.
- Fitting: in the same session the ceramic is fitted, bonded adhesively and polished.
Your benefits
- Only one appointment, no temporary, no second treatment day
- No conventional impression, pleasant even with a gag reflex
- Tooth-coloured, metal-free all-ceramic, hardly distinguishable from your own tooth
- High precision of fit and durability
- Suitable for inlays, onlays, partial crowns and crowns
