All-ceramic crowns and bridges

Dental crowns rebuild the shape and function of a damaged tooth, even when it can no longer be restored with a filling. Bridges replace one or more missing teeth. In our practice we rely on all-ceramic for the best aesthetic and functional result.

In briefA crown replaces the entire visible crown of a badly damaged tooth; a bridge closes a gap by resting on the neighbouring teeth. We work with metal-free all-ceramic that is visually indistinguishable from a natural tooth. We often make single crowns with CEREC in one visit.

Lasts
10–15 years and longer

All prices are non-binding guide values (German dental fee schedule GOZ, as of 2026) and depend on your individual findings. Your personal treatment and cost plan, which you receive before any major treatment, is binding.

Crowns

A crown covers the entire visible tooth like a protective cap. It is the right solution when a tooth is badly damaged, weakened after root canal treatment or broken. All-ceramic crowns are metal-free, translucent like natural enamel and show no dark edge at the gum line.

Bridges

Dental bridges compensate for the loss of one or more teeth. Firmly cemented to your own abutment teeth, the bridge reconstructs the missing teeth both functionally and aesthetically. Ceramic bridges are among the durable restorations and are a very comfortable prosthetic solution. If neighbouring teeth are not to be ground down, an implant is an alternative.

Procedure

After consultation and planning, the tooth is prepared and an impression is taken or a digital scan is made. We can often make single crowns with CEREC in a single visit. With laboratory-made prosthetics you wear a temporary until fitting.

Frequently asked questions

How long do crowns and bridges last?
All-ceramic prosthetics are very durable. With good care and regular check-ups, ten to fifteen years and more are usual.
Does health insurance pay?
Statutorily insured patients receive a fixed subsidy based on the findings; a maintained bonus booklet increases it. The treatment and cost plan shows your share in advance.
Crown or implant?
That depends on the findings. We explain both options calmly and find the right solution together.
