Ceramic veneers
Ceramic veneers are wafer-thin shells that are bonded to the tooth surface, a little like artificial fingernails. The tooth surface is only lightly roughened for this, which means minimal loss of tooth structure compared with a crown. Every veneer is a one-off.

When veneers are the right solution
Veneers offer a gentle and aesthetically convincing solution for:
- chipped tooth corners
- discoloured enamel cracks
- whitish spots in the enamel
- minor misalignments
- large gaps between the teeth
How the treatment works
After consultation and shade selection, the tooth surface is minimally prepared. Based on an impression or scan, the dental laboratory makes the individual ceramic shells. At the second appointment the veneers are tried in and firmly bonded to the tooth with a special resin. The result looks natural, because ceramic reflects light much like your own enamel.
